Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to run the platform, store it securely, and don't sell it. This page explains exactly how — written to be readable, and aligned with the Philippine Data Privacy Act.

1. The short version

We collect what we need to run the booking platform, store it securely, and don't sell it. Card data goes straight to our payment processors and never touches our servers. This policy explains the details, and is aligned with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).

2. What we collect

Account data (name, email, phone, password hash). Facility data you create (courts, schedules, pricing). Customer profiles and bookings entered into your facility. Payment metadata (transaction IDs, amounts, statuses — never raw card numbers). Technical logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) used for security and debugging.

3. How we use it

To operate the platform: confirm bookings, send notifications, process payments through our partners, generate reports, and provide customer support. We may also use aggregate, de-identified data to understand usage patterns and improve the product.

4. Who we share with

Payment processors (Stripe, PayMongo, Xendit, PayPal) for transactions you initiate. Email delivery and customer-support providers acting on our instructions. Authorities when legally required. We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.

5. How we protect it

TLS 1.2+ in transit. Bcrypt for passwords. Signature verification on incoming payment webhooks. Encrypted backups on managed infrastructure. Card data routed straight to PCI-certified processors so it never lands on our servers. Access to production data is limited to a small set of staff who need it.

6. Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object to processing, to erasure or blocking, to damages, and to data portability. Email us to exercise any of these rights — we'll respond within the timelines required by law.

7. How long we keep it

Active account data is retained while your subscription is active. After cancellation, we keep records as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes (typically up to 10 years for financial records under PH law), then delete or anonymize the rest.

8. Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and local storage for authentication (keeping you signed in), basic analytics (understanding how the product is used) and remembering your preferences (currency, region detection, dismissed banners). You can clear them from your browser at any time; some features won't work without them.

9. Children's privacy

Managesports is built for facility operators and adult customers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes we have, please contact us and we'll remove it.

10. International transfers

Some of our infrastructure (databases, email, error monitoring) operates in regions outside the Philippines. When data is transferred internationally, we rely on the legal mechanisms required by the Data Privacy Act and require comparable protections from the recipients.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product, partners or laws change. Material changes will be communicated by email and through the app, with the new effective date. We won't reduce your existing privacy rights without your explicit consent.

12. Contact our DPO
